Brothers and photographers John and Joseph Hong were born and raised in Korea. One of their biggest professional
influences
has been
their father,
who was a photojournalist in Korea as well as the owner of a
fine-art gallery. Both brothers John and Joseph initially kept photography as a hobby and pursued careers in medicine.
However, their passion for photography grew larger as they freelanced for newspapers and acquired professional jobs in photography. Since then, brothers partnered up and redirected their energy to photography.
Since starting John & Joseph Photography
Inc, their photographs have won numerous awards from photographic
associations
and
their work has been highlighted in multiple well-known
publications. They
have
also photographed
recognizable names, such as NBA players Doug Christie,
Chris Webber, singer Rihanna, actor Sylvester Stallone, actor/boxer
Antonio Tarver, NBA coach Dwane Casey, and Isaac Slade
from
band The Fray. Beyond photographing regularly
all over United States, their work has taken them many
international destinations, including Hong Kong, Indonesia,
Mexico, and
Fiji Islands on many occasions. John and Joseph focus on
capturing unique artistic images at every session. This is
evident
in their consistency of producing high-end products and
photos for each
and every
client.
